Bristol Blades Fencing Club are excited to be introducing their ‘I Can’ project, made possible due to receiving a grant from Sport England.
Through the project Bristol Blades will be running taster sessions for the sports of Fencing and Laser Run, making them as accessible as possible. There will be sessions inviting families who have members with a disability and sessions for low income families. The purpose of the project is to introduce the sports to people who may not have been aware that they can participate!
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Bristol Blades saw the need for activities that all members of a family can join in with. Building a family’s ability to work together and enjoy each others company can be crucial in building a young person’s self esteem and confidence. The ‘I Can’ project will do just that!
Further details of the sessions will be coming soon.
