Beginners Courses

Have you always liked the idea of wielding a sword? Followed the three Musketeers along their adventures? Fancied your self a Jedi or Sith igniting your lightsabre? Or wanted to be the roguish Zorro duelling for the people? Then Fencing is the sport for you.

Want to try Fencing? We run multiple Beginners Courses throughout the year. Our course lasts for 8 weeks and will introduce you to the Footwork and technical bladework of our sport.

They will learn movement, the importance of attack and defend, sport safety and the rules of the game. No matter your age, sex, or disability, all are welcome to join our sport.

We always teach in a holistic and fun centred environment, so that each person learns to their best ability. All equipment is provided, all you need to bring is a small towel and water bottle. Please make sure to wear appropriate clothing, long tracksuit trousers a light tshirt, and trainers.

Complete the form below to register your interest, we will then be in touch with a registration form, to book you on to the course.

“I really enjoyed the lesson. I certainly would recommend this to total beginners and to people like myself who want both a physical and mental challenge”

“Thank you for providing a sporting club were even kids not considered as atheletic can participate and enjoy, without having their shortcomings highlighted. That really means a lot.”
